Exotic’s Alternative Fuels Product Group’s CSA certified solutions & Specialty Products Group’s custom rubber & plastics will be featured.

Farmington Hills, MI – September 4, 2013 – Exotic Automation and Supply’s Alternative Fuels Product Group will showcase their CNG and LPG solutions at the 2013 Great Lakes Truck Expo September 18-19, 2013 held at the Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

In addition to displaying on-board and dispensation solutions, a rubber and plastics expert from Exotic’s Specialty Products Group will be on-site to discuss relative engineering questions and issues with attendees.

“Our Alternative Fuels Product Group serves as a single-source solution for superior products used in existing and new CNG and LPG vehicle platforms. What separates Exotic Automation & Supply is our unique ability to also design and manufacture custom components within our Specialty Products Group,” said Henry Testa, Sales Director for Exotic’s Alternative Fuels Product Group.

Exotic Automation & Supply’s Specialty Products Group has supplied the aerospace, automotive, and defense industries with custom rubber and plastic solutions since 1963. Today, Exotic’s exclusive capabilities set them apart in the alternative fuel industry as a manufacturer of tank isolator gaskets, grommets, bumpers, and receptacle covers for both CNG and LPG applications.

To accommodate the needs of this growing industry, Exotic recently expanded their capabilities by developing a dedicated alternative fuels production cell in their facility. This investment allows Exotic to fulfill large volume needs for its customers.

“As our involvement in the alternative fuels marketplace expands, so must our capacity to keep up with the pace of production. From on-board CNG and LPG systems to dispensation solutions, Exotic’s ability to assist in the documentation and testing of CNG and LPG hose assemblies is a key component to serving the market,” said Steve Orlando, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“For fifty years our engineers have worked hand-in-hand developing material handling solutions for customers ranging from the automotive industry and power generation to the manufacture of semi-conductors. Combining this experience with our status as a premier distributor of Parker Hannifin hose assemblies, it’s clear our Alternative Fuels Product Group is well positioned to make an immediate impact,” said Tom Marino, President of Exotic Automation & Supply.
